Mineral plasters made of lime or lime cement are also widely used for the top plaster layer. In addition to the comparatively low manufacturing costs, the advantages lie primarily in the very good water vapor permeability. Mineral plasters are also always non-flammable. The additional application of a façade paint is necessary for the colour design, as mineral plasters themselves are unpigmented, i.e. not coloured.
