Galvanized steel roofing (VSt)

Steel refers to all alloys of iron and carbon, with a very low carbon content. The production of steel is very energy-intensive, but it can be recycled indefinitely. As a roof covering, steel must first be made corrosion-resistant by a metallic coating, usually zinc. If required, galvanized steel can also be coated or painted in color. For roofing, steel is produced in sheets or coils (strip metal rolls).
