Fire resistance of the ceiling cladding/suspended ceiling

In order for a component to be able to demonstrably meet the requirements for fire resistance as a room-enclosing component in accordance with the state building code or supplementary legal provisions (e.g. a garage ordinance or a special building ordinance), it must be classified either according to the German (DIN 4102) or European standard (DIN EN 13501), in the case of ceiling cladding/suspended ceilings as follows:

*only possible with suspended ceilings if the raw ceiling has at least the same proven fire resistance as the suspended ceiling. In the case of the requirement of fire stress "from the ceiling space", at least one mineral wool layer is usually required, and in some cases (in the case of cantilevered ceilings) also a profile cover with plasterboard strips.

**additionally made of non-combustible building materials in the main parts
