Waterproofing made of liquid plastic (FLK)

Liquid plastics (abbreviation: FLK) as waterproofing material for waterproofing in contact with the ground according to DIN 18533-3 consist of one- or more-component synthetic reaction resins made of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), polyurethanes (PUR) or unsaturated polyester resins (UP) with organic additives and partly with mineral fillers. They must meet a crack bridging of at least 2.0 mm and be rainproof after 8 hours at the latest.

The standard-compliant application according to DIN 18533-3 is limited to the water action classes W3-E (non-pressurized water on earth-covered ceilings) and W4-E (wall plinth).
