Mineral noble plasters are high-quality mineral lime or lime cement plasters with admixture of marble powders or grains, which are only used as a top plaster. The natural colour is white, and the addition of colour pigments and crystals opens up a wide range of design options.
Fine plasters for outdoor use:
Fine plasters do not need to be further coated, which means that the crystals they contain lead to interesting light reflections. Due to the open pores, fine plasters can absorb moisture very well and also release it again without being damaged. Mineral plasters sand easily over their entire service life, which means that a fine plaster façade continuously cleans itself to a certain extent. Fine plasters are available in thick layers and thin layers. Especially in the case of thick-layered high-grade plasters, it must be clarified in consultation with the manufacturer whether additional crack-preventing measures are necessary, e.g. a reinforcing plaster with a full-surface fabric insert. It is possible to coat high-end plasters outdoors, e.g. with silicone resin or emulsion paints, even if this means that their unique surface effect is lost.
Noble plasters for interiors:
Even fine plasters suitable for indoor use usually do not require any additional coating. Depending on the product and manufacturer, however, a coating is recommended, e.g. with lime or silicate paints, which retain the moisture-regulating properties of the noble plaster.
