Door leaves, whose cavity between the top layers is stiffened with individual bars made of tubular chipboard strips, have a slightly higher mechanical stability compared to door leaves with a honeycomb filling. They are used as low-cost elements, e.g. within apartments or in commercial buildings, if no increased technical requirements are placed on the door (e.g. fire protection, sound insulation, wet room, mechanical stress). Due to the low stability compared to other door leaf structures, it is not possible to create a light cut-out in the door leaf.
