This type of ceiling in wood-concrete composite construction combines the classic wooden beam ceiling with a conventional and easy-to-produce element ceiling, also known as a filigree ceiling. The wooden beam layer serves as a support for the reinforced concrete ceiling elements, on which a reinforced concrete layer still has to be laid. The shear-resistant composite of the material components wood and reinforced concrete takes place via suitable, usually approved building authorities, composite agents that are applied to the timber beams. This ceiling is primarily used in new buildings.
