Plastic surface for sports fields

Synthetic surfaces are suitable for outdoor multi-sports facilities. Specific technical specifications are contained in DIN 18035-6 (Sports fields - Part 6: Plastic surfaces). According to DIN 18035-6, a plastic surface is a water-permeable or water-impermeable, multi-layer, permanently installed construction consisting of the synthetic surface, the asphalt base course and the base course without binder. The functionality and usability of a plastic surface is defined by the sports function, the protective function and the technical function. The sports functions include, for example, the standard deformation, the gliding behaviour, the ball bounce behaviour, the flatness as well as the drainage / water permeability.

The protective function includes standard deformation, force absorption, sliding behavior and flatness. The technical function includes the wear resistance, the spikes resistance, the residual impression, the aging, the burning behavior, the strength and the drainage / water permeability.

Appearance: There are a wide variety of colours and surface structures, tailored to the respective sport.

Properties: Plastic flooring is weather- and UV-resistant, has a low maintenance and cleaning effort and is durable, even with intensive use.

Use in construction: For sports facilities with ball playing surfaces, running tracks, athletics and much more.
