Sketch: Full slab - bauwion
Monolithic and solidly manufactured reinforced concrete slab, which is prefabricated in the factory in its entirety or in elements and delivered to the construction site as a prefabricated element. The elements are placed directly on the load-bearing components and poured with the supporting structure in a force-fit manner at specified points, as are the joints between the elements. The ceiling is immediately fully loadable. The maximum dimensions are limited by the possibilities of the available lifting equipment and means of transport. Due to the enormous weight of the ceiling, the ceilings are also made of structure-tight or porous lightweight concrete.
In addition to the general DIN standards for the production of reinforced concrete structures, DIN EN 1520 and DIN 4213 apply in particular to constructions in lightweight concrete. Due to the smooth soffit, the ceiling does not have to be plastered, joints are filled. The slabs can be supplied slackly reinforced, but also prestressed, which allows for larger spans. In addition to the frequent design as a flat ceiling, designs as ribbed, coffered or beamed ceilings are also possible. Prestressed concrete prefabricated slabs are regulated in Germany by general building authority approvals in accordance with DIN EN 1992-1-1/NA.
