Bitumen/Polymer Bitumen Roofing Waterproofing Membrane

Bitumen/polymer bitumen roofing membranes (abbreviated DD) are 4 to 5 mm thick bitumen-based waterproofing membranes that are glued to the surface to be sealed using various processes. They consist of a carrier insert soaked in bitumen, which is covered on both sides with a layer of polymer bitumen. The carrier layer influences strength and elasticity, etc. The bituminous surface layers ensure tightness. The interlinings offered include polyester fleece, glass fabric and glass fleece, so that a variety of membranes are available for a wide variety of applications and requirements. In a multi-layer design and the right insert (fabric or polyester fleece insert), these can also be used in the area of pressing water. For greater immersion depths, depending on the type of membrane and interlining, three webs with fabric or polyester fleece interlining must also be executed.
