Windows, linear heat transfer coefficient ψg

The ψg value indicates the linear heat transfer coefficient for the edge bond of the glazing. The thermal insulation quality of this edge seal can be improved on the one hand by increasing the glazing in the sash profile, but above all by the material of the insulating glass spacer used. Aluminum spacers have poorer thermal properties than plastic or stainless steel spacers.
