Mineral insulation boards are solid, very pressure-resistant thermal insulation materials made of mineral components. The material is calcium silicate and is made from hydrates, lime, sand, cement and water under the influence of pore formers. Its insulating effect is due to its high porosity, which is approx. 95% by volume. The panels can be easily processed and are fully recyclable.
