A trapezoidal sheet (also known as a trapezoidal profile or profile sheet) is a folded profiled sheet that is trapezoidal in cross-section.
Differentiation: A corrugated profile or corrugated sheet, on the other hand, has a sinusoidal cross-section. (see also ☛ "corrugated sheet")
Upper areas of the trapezoidal profile are called upper chords, lower areas are called lower chords. Stiffeners in upper, lower chords and webs are referred to as corrugations or offsets. (see also ☛ "Enfüller")
