Lift-slab method (lifting ceiling method)

The lift-slab method (also known as the lifting ceiling method) describes a method developed in the USA in which ceiling systems (slab) are assembled or concreted on the ground and only then lifted into their final position. (Lift)

This saves time especially in formwork and scaffolding and, above all, in repetitive elements, as the ceilings can be assembled/poured more easily on the floor.

The procedure is only used in individual cases in Germany.
