Cassette wall

In the case of a cassette wall, C-profiles are attached to a load-bearing substructure and then filled with an insulation board tailored to this system. A light façade construction - for example a sheet metal façade - can then be attached to the cassette construction.

Cassette walls can be used to erect large façade areas in a short time, which is why the technology is usually used to build production halls or warehouses.

Why is the insulation of the cassette wall useful ?

In addition to the lack of thermal insulation, uninsulated cassette walls have low sound insulation and fire protection. In conventionally insulated cassette walls, continuous metal bars and belts are in direct contact with the cold outside air. These thermal bridges significantly reduce the insulating effect of the components and are often associated with an increased risk of condensation.

Special cassette wall insulation systems offer thermal bridge-free insulation with appropriate spacers and thermostop profiles.
