Glass tiles and glass mosaic

Glass mosaics or glass tiles can be used as façade cladding in the form of (1) external thermal insulation composite system structures (ETICS) and (2) rear-ventilated façades (VHF).

In combination with a thermal insulation composite system (ETICS), the glass tiles or glass mosaic tiles (grid nets) are glued to the underlying insulation board via a flexible laying mortar.

  3. Grout

When laying in a rear-ventilated façade (VHF), a carrier plate is required to which the tiles are glued. The carrier plate is attached to the shell via a substructure, usually via a rail system and brackets.

  4. Base coating (only required for mineral plaster)

  7. Final coating
  8. Installation mortar
