Sand-lime brick

Lime, sand and water are the three natural raw materials for the production of high-quality sand-lime bricks.

The range extends from traditional, small-format sand-lime bricks for manual masonry to large-format elements for the production of load-bearing and non-load-bearing walls.

Sand-lime brick has an enormously high compressive strength (usually SFK 12 to 20) and can be used for load-bearing walls from a wall thickness of 11.5 cm. Slender wall constructions mean less material, lower costs and approx. 7% more living and usable space.

Sand-lime brick elements are offered in the form of all necessary bricks, such as standard and supplementary formats, supplementary stones, chine stones and lintels.

The wall construction begins with the application of the rear sight layer, which serves to compensate for height. The chinestones are placed in normal masonry mortar and levelled.
