Substructure (Supporting Profile)

Load-bearing profiles are used to accommodate façade cladding in rear-ventilated façades. Depending on the system, these are mounted horizontally or vertically. It is possible to attach the façade cladding to the supporting profiles either visibly or invisibly. The supporting profiles are attached to the shell by means of fasteners.

Load-bearing profiles are available in different designs:

  • T-Profiles
  • U-Profiles
  • L-Profiles
  • Omega profiles
  • Various system profiles (depending on the respective manufacturer)
  • Clamping systems

There are also various options for attaching the façade cladding to the load-bearing profiles, e.g.

  • by gluing
  • with clamps
  • ,
  • with rivets
  • , with bolt holders,
  • by hooking in
  • with screws

The type of fastening also depends on the selected system and the different manufacturers.
