Insulation wedge

Insulation wedges form a transition between the horizontal roof level and the vertical roof border during the preparatory work of flat roof insulation and waterproofing.

Especially in the case of bitumen roofing membranes, an insulating wedge is required to prevent the membranes from being guided at right angles and resulting damage. This ensures optimal joining technology for the waterproofing membrane. Insulation wedges are made of pressure-resistant, dimensionally stable, moisture-resistant and rot-resistant material such as XPS.
