Lightweight porosed flat bricks without filling are used for the production of exterior walls in buildings with normal thermal insulation requirements, such as single-family houses, semi-detached and terraced houses. The chambers are not filled with insulating material, so the brick does not achieve the same thermal insulation and sound insulation values as a brick with infill material.
