Compriband

Joint and composite tapes are used to seal joints and connections. Depending on the construction project, different requirements apply, which are laid down in DIN 18542.

More about Kompribbände

Kompribbände are based on polyurethane, are pre-compressed and impregnated. They are placed in a joint in which they slowly expand, filling and sealing the joint with them.

For buildings up to 20m high, a composite tape offers driving rain-proof waterproofing up to 300 Pa (equivalent to wind force 9) and can also serve as a decoupling tape. For buildings up to 100 metres high, on the other hand, the composite tape offers driving rain-proof waterproofing up to 600 Pa (equivalent to wind force 11).

Components

must be designed in such a way that the airtightness, driving rain tightness of joints and driving rain tightness of joint production is guaranteed. In addition, resistance to thermal shock, resistance to the effects of light and moisture, compatibility with adjacent building materials, resistance to condensation must be given. Joint and composite tapes must be permeable to water vapour (permeable to diffusion).
