Top plasters made of organic synthetic resin plasters are regulated in DIN 18558 (formerly as P Org 1 and P Org 2). The lower water vapour permeability compared to mineral plasters must be taken into account in the planning. Synthetic resin plasters are the most versatile in terms of colour choice, as organic pigments are also available, so brilliant colours can also be realised. In outdoor areas, synthetic resin plaster can be applied in a single layer without a plaster if the substrate is made of concrete with a closed structure. In any case, a primer coat is required for substrate preparation.
