hollow floor with a poured base layer of flowing screed, usually calcium sulphate or cement screed. Underneath there is a separating layer, optionally an additional intermediate layer and formwork elements, e.g. made of gypsum-bonded system panels. The higher mass of the floor structure compared to other system floors results in good sound insulation properties, e.g. for partition walls standing on the base course.
