Clinker tiles/boards

In

addition to the colouring clay, tiles and slabs made of clinker also contain fireclay and feldspar. There are glazed and unglazed clinker floor coverings. The firing temperature is approx. 1,200 °C. In order to minimise deformations during the firing process, clinker sheets are often connected in pairs back to back with webs during production and only split off from each other after the firing process (= split clinker). Tiles and slabs made of clinker brick are particularly non-slip and frost-resistant and are mainly used outdoors, e.g. as terrace/balcony covering.
