Aerated concrete, production

Aerated concrete, also known as aerated concrete, is made from the natural raw material sand with the addition of cement and lime as a binder and aluminium powder as a propellant. The mass is then porosed by inflating and hardened by steam. No harmful substances are produced during production. Aerated concrete blocks are white and can be manufactured with low dimensional tolerances. However, aerated concrete is not a variation of concrete, so the name is misleading.
