Silicone Resin Paints

Silicone resin paints consist of a combination of organic (synthetic resin) and mineral (quartz) components and represent a particularly high-quality coating type. Chemical silicification creates a firm and permanent bond with the substrate. In addition, plastic dispersions can be added to influence the properties. The higher the plastic dispersion content of the silicone resin paint, the higher its strength, but at the same time the lower the vapor permeability and the water-repellent effect.

Silicone resin paints are mainly used as façade coatings, but there are also paints suitable for interior use.
