Fire barrier, vertical

Vertically continuous interruption/filling of the rear ventilation gap of the VHF in the area of fire walls, at least in the thickness of the fire wall, with an insulating material with a melting point of >1,000° C, which is dimensionally stable in the event of a fire.

These (exemplary!) Rules are taken from the sample list of the Technical Building Regulations Part 1, Appendix 2.6/11. The specific rules for fire barriers applicable in the respective federal state can be found in the technical building regulations introduced there and may deviate from them.
