Roof windows as swing windows are widely used. The pivot point is in the middle of the window, the skylight swings around the horizontal central axis, one half into the room and the other half outwards. Swing windows have the advantage that they have a wide opening angle. As a result, they provide plenty of daylight, mobility and comfort. The one-handed operation is located at the top of a swing window. This has the advantage that the skylight can be easily opened and closed even with furniture in front of it.
