Plastic and elastomer membranes are made of various materials such as PVC, EPDM or FPO and can be used for flat roof waterproofing as well as for the waterproofing of components in contact with the ground according to DIN 18533 . The sheets are usually 1 to 2 mm thick and are mechanically fastened or glued depending on the product and design.
