AHM Architekten work on projects nationwide in various areas of public and private sector needs, such as sports and leisure, health, culture and education, services and administration as well as office, commercial and residential construction. The range of services includes all service phases of consulting and planning for buildings, including the associated outdoor facilities and space-forming extensions. In addition to the well thought-out and appropriate structural-spatial solution, cost and schedule security is the focus of the planning activities. We consider it our essential architectural duty to develop the economically optimized, sustainable and functional solution for each building task. The basis of our work is an internal quality management system that has proven itself in practice. When working on the projects, the careful consideration of functions, usability and design, but also of construction and follow-up costs, plays a decisive role. This requires a correspondingly good cooperation between building owners, future users and those involved in the planning, which we make a special effort to achieve.
This way of working has led to numerous successes in architectural competitions as well as internationally recognized architecture prizes, publications and awards that we and our clients have received for our realized projects.
Architecture
For each project, the specific and appropriate solution is worked out on the basis of all the framework conditions in the design process, but there are features of our architecture that recur many times:
The architecture of AHM Architekten is characterized by clarity and durability. Contemporary, performance-oriented use of materials and construction characterise the appearance. In doing so, we attach particular importance to consistent architectural quality down to the last detail. A bright, bright atmosphere through the inclusion of daylight as well as the dialogue between interior and exterior space are essential design aspects of the designs.
Research and Development
In the combination of university activity and office practice, AHM architects have a wide range of research and research options at their disposal. Research and development lead to quality assurance in planning. They stand for innovation as well as technically and economically optimised use of construction and materials.
