Our goal is to create an architecture that is powerful and personal, an architecture with the ability to develop its own character. This allows our projects to polarize the public, which is fine with us. You may love or hate our architecture, but it should not cause indifference in the viewer.
As post-idealistic children of the 1968 generation, we do not recognize a single great truth, but find in the fractures of reality a ground on which we can anchor architecture. This is the radicalism that we have derived from Venturi's "both and" principle. But both - and should not be seen as arbitrary or indecisive. Behind and within it lies the problematic recognition of just values and the longing for an architecture that renounces all dogma and opens up to the freedom of the possible.
