wulf architekten was founded in 1987 by Tobias Wulf. Today, the office is managed by Tobias Wulf, Jan-Michael Kallfaß, Ingmar Menzer and Steffen Vogt. In addition to our activities in the office, we are also involved in teaching, professional associations, as expert judges and in design advisory boards.
At its locations in Stuttgart, Berlin and Basel, international teams work on a wide range of construction tasks, most of which have emerged from successful competition entries. The focus of our activities is on large-scale public projects in the field of university construction, exhibition buildings, buildings for security, laboratory construction as well as school construction, sports construction, office construction, cultural building and CI commercial construction, and increasingly also in the listed renovation sector.
Clarity and comprehensibility characterize our architecture – even for complex tasks, we look for simple solutions that keep the finite nature of our resources in mind. Creative questioning leads us to unconventional and sometimes unexpected planning results. Our quality standards are based on the continuity of our work through all project phases. Functionality and cost-effectiveness are the basis for the creation of high-quality architecture – but never its sole goal.
