The architectural office slapa oberholz pszczulny | sop architekten develops buildings in the areas of office, commercial, hotel, industrial and residential construction as well as airports, sports facilities or facilities for teaching and research. The internationally active office with around 90 employees and headquarters in Düsseldorf stands for a clear, timeless architectural language and offers comprehensive services for construction projects regardless of their project type and size.
The field of activity includes urban planning and analysis, careful project and planning preparation, property planning in all service phases, project and construction management, the coordination of all those involved in planning, interior design, general planning and the revitalisation of existing properties. Sustainable, energy-efficient building concepts are already taken into account in the design planning, as evidenced by numerous certificates and awards for completed projects.
In addition to the three namesakes, Jurek M. Slapa, Helmut Oberholz and Zbigniew Pszczulny, who have been working together for more than 30 years, Wolfgang Marcour and Lothar Simonis are among the managing partners of the office, supported by Bjørn Polzin as managing director. With buildings such as the Gap 15, the Hyatt Hotel in the Media Harbour, the Merkur Spiel-Arena or the new Düsseldorf Airport, sop architekten has had a strong influence on the face of the city of Düsseldorf. The European Championship Stadium in Wroclaw, the Campustower residential building in HafenCity Hamburg, the expansion of the Düsseldorf exhibition grounds, the Orjin Maslak in Istanbul and the expansion of Terminal 1 at Munich Airport are among the other references.
