Our office was founded in 1967 by partners Helmut Braun, Wolfgang Braun, Martin Schlockermann and Inge Voigt. This partnership was dissolved in 1990. Wolfgang Braun and Inge Voigt (B&V Braun & Voigt) gave their name to the new establishment of our office. Since then, this company name has been supplemented by new partners and shareholders.
In the more than 50 years of our existence, planning and building have been subject to constant change. In the past, growth, profitability and prosperity were considered the engines of urban development. Today, factors such as ecology and a focus on people are essential.
Quantitative success and technical accuracy are important to us. But not the only thing that counts. Aspects of quality of life as well as creative and emotional needs are of great importance in our work.
In every project, it is our guiding principle to solve the respective task from its peculiarity and local context. We have deliberately avoided specialization; and so our office takes on the entire spectrum of architectural services, starting with the basic determination and design and implementation planning to property supervision and property management.
We abstain from short-term fashion trends in order to keep an eye on what has always proven itself: quality of planning that is appropriate to use and work, content standards and creative design. We combine all of this with a sense of sustainability and respect for natural resources.
