The desire to develop and realize his own ideas and demands was the motivation of Karsten Monke to found the archwerk office in 2002/03. Due to the large number of projects, the transfer to archwerk Bauplanungen GmbH & Co. KG took place in March 2005. Since 2010 in partnership with Heike Monke. In June 2016, the company was converted into archwerk GmbH.
Social changes such as individualisation, demographic change and economic developments present us with new challenges. Modern technologies and materials are a prerequisite for meeting changing demands. Due to the demands, we pursue consistent, interdisciplinary cooperation between specialist planners and trades even in the early phase of projects. - From this point of view of an integrated planning approach, we have been working on innovative and targeted solutions since 2003.
